Sing Song By Caleb Ng • UrbanWire
And Sean has put his love for music to good use, as he sets out to use his musical memories, together with those of co-creator Natalie Hennedige, to bring “these memories to life through musical drama”, in Sing Song.
“Music arguably is the 'art form' that reaches most people and is most integrated into life. I love the idea of musicals but tend to greatly dislike most musicals I ever watch because of their frivolity so I have always been interested in seeing how the musical theatre form can come in different manifestations,” said Sean. Six months since its conceptualisation, Sing Song is ready to be enjoyed by the public. It promises to exhibit a kaleidoscope of human emotions through music from “victory and defeat” to “celebration and devastation”. It showcases life from its “turning points, seasons, times and friendship been and gone” and the “romance, break ups, birth and death”.
