Ultimate Kylie By Caleb Ng UrbanWire
Come Nov 15, Australian singer-actress Kylie Minogue, who seems to have a knack for doing that since her debut single in 1987, will find herself in that position. The catchy 'The Loco Motion' became the "biggest Australian single of the decade" where it remained on the music charts Down Under at No. 1 for 7 weeks, according to her official website. Citing Music Week magazine as source, the site also added that Minogue beat such greats as the Beatles, Madonna and Elvis Presley to become the only performer in British pop scene to have all first 13 releases in the coveted Top 10. Next month's Ultimate Kylie will feature every one of her 31 international hits, including UK charts number 1s like 'Spinning Around' and 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head', and other popular songs like 'On A Night Like This', 'Love At First Sight' and the duet with Robbie Williams, 'Kids'. The double CD will also include 2 brand new songs, one of which is a collaboration with Jake Spears and Babydaddy (the Scissor Sisters) entitled 'I Believe in You', according to the release. "This collection is very dear to me and holds a lifetime of memories. There is nothing like time to give you a sense of perspective and I hope the listener gets as much enjoyment out of these tracks as I do," Kylie said in the release. "I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to experiment throughout
the years and that my fans have embraced the need in me to try new approaches.
I am just as excited about the new tracks featured here as I am about
all the others on the record. At this point in my career, I am happy to
celebrate the past and look forward to the future," she added. Don't miss out. |
